Jane Bountis-Berthet

Jane is in the Viticulture and Enology program at Las Positas College in Livermore and a candidate for the certificate program in winemaking from UC Davis. The Rhone Valley, its varietals and blends, produces Jane’s favorite wines. Having lived in France for 8 years, and being married to a Frenchman, she became extremely fond of this area and the abundance of wonderful wines. French style winemaking is her focus: less oak, more varietal flavor and an expression of a place.
